Neon Kisses
This explosion of color is from a common weed I found while walking through Stony Run trail in Baltimore, MD. Purple dead nettles are known for their hairy and dark-colored leaves, which shine in a cotton candy color palette under UV. The cyan tentacles are trichomes, and the pink structures that look like lips are stomata, the pores through which plants breathe.
