Redbug

These tiny arachnids have an alarming red color, but they’re harmless to humans, preferring to munch on pollen rather than bite into skin. You’ve probably seen velvety hordes of them near sidewalks and gardens. The pigment that gives them their scarlet color smears easily and dissolves quickly into nail polish.
