Seashells

Every once in a while, a sample brings back the sense of wonder I had as a kid. Looking through the eyepiece at these delicate crystals made me feel like I was collecting magic seashells on a pure black beach. Back then, it was my imagination that added impossible colors to the world. Now I use carefully arranged glass and a steady hand to polarize these shells.
